If you haven’t watched the season 3 finale of Fringe, don’t watch the video and don’t read any further.
First of all, I can not WAIT until next Friday! Fringe Fridays are going to be the best days ever.
That being said, I knew that this season was going to be all weird without a certain someone not existing anymore. And I’m really excited to see how they explain everything and how the Observers are going to play a bigger role. I’m always intrigued even more when they’re around.
But the thing that I’m going to be thinking about non-stop until next Friday is what the Observer says at the end of the promo.
“They can never know the boy lived to be a man.”
What boy are they talking about?!?!?
First theory - they’re talking about the baby boy Fauxlivia had with Peter. But that doesn’t really make sense because he was just born and so he wouldn’t have time to grow up to be a man…if the timeline stays the same.
Second theory - they’re talking about young Peter and they knew there was this boy in Walter’s life and they’re not allowed to know he grew up into Peter. But that doesn’t make sense either because the Observers said at the end of the season finale that Peter never existed which is why they couldn’t remember him.
So who are they talking about?! Gah!! It’s so frustrating!
Which is why I freaking love this show so much.
