the nine lives of chloe king

I’m not embarrassed to admit that I really enjoyed this first season of ABC Family’s The Nine Lives of Chloe King.  Or as I always type it, “Chole”.

What do I like about this show?  Surprisingly, the mystery and the action are pretty great for an ABC Family show.  Mostly though, I love the characters and the stories they’re setting up for them.  Well, I can’t get on board the Brian train, but after the season finale, I don’t feel like I really need to.  There are so many things that were happening before the finale and during the finale that I want resolution to.  Will Chloe find her dad?  What does he know about who/what she is, or does he even know?  Will she tell her mom?  What exactly is Brian’s dad’s problem with the Mai, and does it involve his mom’s death?  Is Brian really dead?  Are Valentina and Jasmine dead?  What’s the deal with Brian’s grandma?  Why is Chloe not in love with Alek?  I would choose him over Brian any day.

The bottom line is, ABC Family, that I want this show to get renewed for a second season.  You can’t just leave me hanging like that.

Oh, also, I kind of love the opening sequence.
